The Hon. Luis A. Gonzalez, former Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, First Judicial Department, has joined Collazo Florentino & Keil LLP as Of Counsel as of March 8, 2016. A 1975 graduate of Columbia Law School, Judge Gonzalez served for 30 years as a jurist in the NYS Unified Court System. Governor Pataki appointed him to serve as an Associate Justice of the First Department in 2002, and Governor David A. Patterson appointed him Presiding Justice of the First Department in 2009. “ I have known Judge Gonzalez for over 40 years, and we are all delighted that he will be joining our practice” says Ernest J.
